Pecan and Pear Salad
This is one of our favorite fall salads! Add chicken or turkey for a heartier salad. You can also substitute apples for the pears and toss in some dried cranberries for variety.

Notes
The dressing is best made a day or two in advance to give the flavors a chance to mingle. Â
The nuts can be made in advance. If they aren't as crispy as you'd like; place in a 200 degree oven for 10-15 minutes. Â
Tossing the greens in half of the salad dressing, before drizzling with remaining amount really makes a difference in the flavor. Â
